Question
Can You Swim at Düden Waterfall?
Yes, sometimes. From a private yacht you can cool off under the smaller Düden waterfall when the sea and weather allow, but it is never promised in advance: the captain decides on the day. The planned swim stops off Lara Beach and at the larger waterfall area are part of every cruise.
Why the answer is "it depends"
The smaller Düden waterfall falls into the sea among natural sea caves and rocks, so how close the yacht can go depends entirely on the conditions. On a calm day the captain can bring you near enough to swim in and cool off under the falls. When there is swell or wind, going close is not safe, and the yacht keeps its distance.
That decision is made on the spot, not when you book. It is the same for any extra swim stop: the captain looks at the sea and makes the call. We would rather tell you that plainly than promise a swim nobody can guarantee.
Where you swim on the route
Even when the falls themselves are out of reach, you still get into the water. Every cruise from Kundu Marina has a first swim stop off Lara Beach and a second at the larger Düden waterfall area, where the meal is served. The full route, step by step, is in our guide to the Düden waterfall boat trip.
- Swim stop off Lara Beach
- The smaller Düden waterfall: photos from the foredeck, and a swim under the falls when the weather allows
- The larger Düden waterfall area: swim stop and the meal
- Cruise along the Antalya hotel coast and back to Kundu Marina
Getting the most out of the water
If time in the sea matters most to you, take the day cruise. It runs for about 6 hours in full daylight and returns to Kundu Marina at 15:00, with lunch at the larger waterfall area. You can see the departure times and book on the day yacht cruise page.
Wear your swimwear under your clothes so you are ready at the first stop, and bring sunscreen and a dry change for the cruise back. The sunset cruise, from 15:30 to 20:30, follows the same route in the softer evening light.
On a private yacht, you are not in a queue
Because the whole yacht is yours, there are no other groups waiting for a turn. If conditions are right at the waterfall, your group swims there at its own pace; if they are not, you have the deck to yourselves for photos and go on to the next stop.
The price is for the whole yacht, not per person: from €750 for the 12-guest yacht, with a hotel transfer there and back, or from €850 for the 28-guest yacht, with a jacuzzi on deck and the meeting point at Kundu Marina. Nothing is paid online, and cancellation is free up to 48 hours before departure.

Questions guests ask
Can we ask the captain to try the waterfall again later in the cruise?
You can always ask. The captain decides based on the sea at that moment, and only goes close to the falls when it is safe.
Do non-swimmers miss out at the waterfall?
No. You see both waterfalls, the sea caves and the rocks from the deck, and you can take your photos from the foredeck.
