Day or Sunset Yacht Cruise in Antalya: Which Suits You?
Choosing a day or sunset yacht cruise in Antalya comes down to light and time in the water. The day cruise gives you the most time in the sea: 6 hours in full daylight, back at 15:00, with lunch on board. The sunset cruise has softer light and an evening meal: 5 hours, from 15:30 to 20:30. The route and the whole-yacht starting price are the same for both.
The two sessions at a glance
Each of our yachts offers two sessions from Kundu Marina. The day session runs for 6 hours and is back at the marina at 15:00. The 28-guest yacht leaves at 09:00, and on the 12-guest yacht you meet at 09:30. The sunset session runs for 5 hours on both yachts, from 15:30 to 20:30.
Whichever you pick, the yacht is private: your group is the only one on board.
- Day: 6 hours, back at 15:00, lunch on board
- Day start: 09:00 on the 28-guest yacht, 09:30 on the 12-guest yacht
- Sunset: 5 hours, 15:30 to 20:30, meal served with the sunset
Why choose the day cruise
The day cruise gives you the longest time at sea and the brightest light for swimming. You leave in the morning, stop off Lara Beach for the first swim, then head to the Düden waterfalls, with lunch on deck at the larger waterfall area before cruising the Antalya hotel coast on the way back.
It suits families who want a full morning of swimming and are happy to be back by mid-afternoon. You can see the yachts available for this session on the day yacht page.
If the waterfalls are the main reason you are coming, the day cruise shows you the water and the sea caves in full daylight, with lunch at the larger waterfall area. Our guide to visiting the Düden waterfalls by private yacht walks through each stop.
Why choose the sunset cruise
The sunset cruise leaves at 15:30. You still have the swim stops and the Düden waterfalls, the meal is served on deck as the sun goes down, and you see the hotel coast in the evening light on the way back to Kundu Marina at 20:30.
It is the more relaxed option: a lazy morning at the hotel, the afternoon on the water, then the meal on deck with a view. It is the natural pick for couples, birthdays and anniversaries, and you can see every evening option on our sunset yacht page.
What stays the same
The route does not change between sessions: Lara Beach, the smaller Düden waterfall with its sea caves and rocks, the larger waterfall area, and the Antalya hotel coast. Swimming under the waterfall and any extra swim stop depend on the sea and weather, and the captain makes that call on the day.
The starting price is the same for Day and Sunset: from €750 for the whole 12-guest yacht and from €850 for the whole 28-guest yacht. The meal, welcome snacks and soft drinks are included in both, and the hotel transfer there and back is included on the smaller yacht. For more on how the price works, see our private yacht price guide.
Practical differences on the day
The day cruise means an early start, so have breakfast first and pack the night before. In return, you have the rest of the afternoon free once you are back at Kundu Marina at 15:00. On the 12-guest yacht the hotel transfer there and back is included for both sessions; guests on the 28-guest yacht meet it at the marina and can ask us about a transfer.
The sunset cruise leaves your morning free, and you are back at Kundu Marina at 20:30 after the meal on the water. Pack a light layer for the way back, and see our yacht packing list for the rest.
A simple way to decide
Think about who is coming and what they will enjoy most. If you have young swimmers or simply love long hours in the water, the day cruise is the better fit. If you want softer light and the meal on deck at sunset, choose the sunset cruise.
If you are celebrating something, our guide for couples and special occasions explains how to tell us what you have in mind.
- Most swimming time: Day
- Softer light and an evening meal: Sunset
- Back early in the afternoon: Day
- A slow afternoon start: Sunset

Questions guests ask
Do we still swim on the sunset cruise?
Yes. The sunset cruise includes a swim stop and the Düden waterfalls. Extra swim stops and swimming under the falls depend on the sea and weather, and the captain decides.
Is the sunset cruise more expensive than the day cruise?
No. Each yacht has the same starting price for both sessions: from €750 for the 12-guest yacht and from €850 for the 28-guest yacht, for the whole yacht.
What time is the meal served on each cruise?
On the day cruise you have lunch at the larger Düden waterfall area. On the sunset cruise the meal is served as the sun goes down.
