A Private Yacht with Children in Antalya: A Family Guide
On a private yacht with children in Antalya, only your family and friends are on board. The 12-guest yacht suits most families: from €750 for the whole yacht, with a hotel transfer there and back included. Children count towards the guest limit, so tell us their ages when you book.
Why a private yacht works for families
On a private charter there are no other passengers, nobody minds a little noise, and the crew looks after your group only. You can sit in the shade of the saloon, stretch out on the foredeck sunpads or watch the coast from the flybridge.
For most families, the 12-guest yacht is the natural fit. It carries up to 12 guests, starts from €750 for the whole yacht, and has a table on the aft deck where the family can eat together.
Because the price is for the whole yacht, not per person, a family pays the same starting price whether the children are toddlers or teenagers. It also means grandparents, cousins or another family can join you, as long as everyone fits within the guest limit.
A hotel transfer makes the morning easier
Getting children ready, packed and out of the hotel is half the work of any family day. On the 12-guest yacht a hotel transfer there and back is included, so you do not have to find your own way to Kundu Marina and back again at the end of the day.
If you are a larger family group and choose the 28-guest jacuzzi yacht instead, you meet it at Kundu Marina; ask us about a transfer when you book. Our guide on choosing between our two yachts compares them side by side.
Before the yacht leaves Kundu Marina, the crew welcomes everyone with snacks and gives a safety briefing. It is worth bringing the children along to listen, so they know how things work on board.
Swimming with children on the route
The programme on the 12-guest yacht includes two swim stops. The first is off Lara Beach, and later the yacht stops at the larger Düden waterfall area for another swim before the meal. In between, children can see the smaller Düden waterfall and the sea caves and rocks around it from the deck.
Whether you can swim under the falls, and whether there is time for an extra stop, depends on the sea and weather, and the captain decides. Please keep a close eye on children in and around the water, and ask us before your date about anything specific you would like to know.
Day or sunset with little ones
Many families prefer the day cruise. On the 12-guest yacht you meet at 09:30 and are back at 15:00, which leaves the rest of the afternoon free for a rest at the hotel. Lunch is served at the larger waterfall area.
The sunset cruise, from 15:30 to 20:30, can be lovely with older children who are happy to stay up for dinner on deck. Our comparison of day and sunset cruises can help you decide.
Whichever session you choose, the route is the same: Lara Beach, the Düden waterfalls and the Antalya hotel coast, back to Kundu Marina. Music is available on request if the children have favourites.
Food, drinks and what to pack for children
Everyone is welcomed with snacks, and the meal includes chicken and meatballs (köfte), cold meze, salad, pasta and fresh fruit, with soft drinks included. If a child has an allergy or a special diet, tell us when you book.
Pack swimwear, sun protection, hats and a change of clothes for each child, plus a light layer for the way back. Our yacht packing list has the full checklist. Nothing is paid online, and cancellation is free up to 48 hours before departure, which is useful if plans change with little ones.
For a bigger family gathering of more than 12, the 28-guest yacht takes up to 28 guests and starts from €850 for the whole yacht. Our large group yacht guide explains how to plan it.
- Swimwear and a dry change of clothes
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
- A light layer for later in the day
- Any snacks or comforts your child relies on

Questions guests ask
Do babies and toddlers count towards the guest limit?
Children are guests like everyone else, so they count towards the yacht's maximum. For babies and toddlers, tell us their ages when you book and we will confirm the right yacht for your group.
Is there shade for children on board?
The 12-guest yacht has a saloon with seating as well as the decks, so there is somewhere to get out of the sun. The 28-guest yacht has a canopy over its aft deck table.
Can children use the jacuzzi on the 28-guest yacht?
Please ask us before your charter and we will give you a clear answer for your group.
